Service of Prayer and Healing

In the New Testament, Christ's own brother, James, sets forward what has come to be known as the Prayer of Faith.

Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. James 5:13ff

We gather to celebrate the Lord's Supper and proclaim healing in the name of Christ in accordance with the Rite of Healing from the Anglican Book of Common Prayer. We adjust our schedule based on the seasons so please call the church for the day and time (715-479-8921). We offer individual prayer with the laying-on of hands and anointing with Holy oil.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come and witness the love and power of Christ; to hear testimonies, sing, receive or offer prayer, and participate in the sacrament of the Lord's Supper.
